The Wall of Deities
Welcome to Boston University’s CAS RN 213 Hinduism poster project! The images and captions that you will be viewing inside are of Hindu deities. Each student was assigned one deity and asked to learn as much as possible about the assigned image in the given amount of time. What you will see are chromolithographs that the instructor of the course collected in India during a field trip in December of 2015 through January 2016, but the students wrote the captions. They also provided the installation shots for you to demonstrate how they displayed the image in their residences on campus. Enjoy the colorful intensity of the images while learning new facts about the nature of popular Hinduism, the majority religion of India.
