Optional pre-workshop R Literacy session, L311
Dec 4, 2023 | 12:00PM – 2:00PM

Individuals who would like to enhance their skills in R to better participate in the workshop’s optional coding exercises are welcomed to attend the pre-workshop R literacy session. This interactive session will cover topics such as installing RStudio, loading libraries, working with R objects, tidyverse, ggplot, functions, and loops.

Instructor: Dr. Chad Milando is a research scientist in the Department of Environmental Health interested in creating and using novel computational tools to examine health impacts (and interventions) among the most vulnerable populations. He has taught versions of the R literacy bootcamp over the past several years and is excited to share tips with the growing BU SPH Data Science community.
