Sandra Ley
Sandra Ley is Distinguished Professor at the School of Social Science and Government in Tecnológico de Monterrey. Her research focuses on the logic of criminal violence in Mexico and its impact on political behavior. Throughout her academic career, she has collaborated closely with diverse civil society organizations in Mexico, with which she has developed different policy-oriented projects related to violence, human rights, and militarization. Sandra has a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Political Science from Duke University.
