- October 2018 — Josh and Vivek won the Best Student Paper award, 3rd Place at the ICIP 2018 for their paper “Improving Lidar Depth Resolution With Dither” with Robin Dawson.
- May 2018 — Sheila, John, Yanting, Charlie, and Vivek won the Best Poster Award at ICCP 2018 for their poster “Occluder Aided Computational Periscopy” with Christopher Yu, William T. Freeman.
- December 2017 — Vivek won the 2017 SPS Best Paper Award from the IEEE Signal Processing Society for his paper “Message-Passing De-Quantization With Applications to Compressed Sensing” with coauthors Ulugbek S. Kamilov and Sundeep Rangan.
