Madilyn Sandy
MPH Student
I am an MPH student at Boston University studying Environmental Health & Justice, with interests in health communications and epidemiology. I completed my undergraduate studies at Vassar College, where I earned my BAs in Environmental Studies and Science, Technology, and Society. I am primarily interested in the intersections of environmental and social factors on respiratory disease, including factors such as air pollution, extreme heat, socioeconomic status, and historical injustices affecting minority communities. Ultimately, my mission is to advocate for environmental justice and enhance health outcomes in vulnerable communities through research, outreach, and direct action.
