Jelonid M. Fuentes is the Program Coordinator for the Institute for Early Childhood Well-Being and the Nuestros Niños program. She completed her Master’s in Educational Policy Studies at the Wheelock College of Education and Human Development at Boston University. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (K-12) at the University of Puerto Rico – Rio Piedras Campus. Jelonid Fuentes has worked with the UNESCO Chair for Peace Education at the University of Puerto Rico, has worked as an Associate Teacher at Bright Horizons, and worked with non-profit Parceleras Afrocaribeñas in an audiovisual project for La Conde. Jelonid’s interests include teacher quality and multilingual education policy.
