EC Institute’s Associate Director of Research Presents at Society for Social Work and Research Annual Meeting

Dr. Ruth Paris presented 2 studies at the annual meeting of the Society for Social Work and Research in Phoenix, AZ on Jan 13, 2023.

As chairperson of the session “Parental Mental Health across the Globe: Inequities and Protective Factors Impacting Families with Young Children”, Dr. Paris presented “Experiences of Latinx Immigrant Mothers in a Culturally Adapted Dyadic Home-Based Intervention”.

Dr. Paris also presented Attachment Style, Trauma, and Reflective Functioning Among Pregnant Women with Substance Use Disorders (SUDs) for the session “Maternal Mental Health during the COVID-19 Pandemic and Beyond: Disrupting Systems of Inequity and Advancing Solutions”.
