Ginny is a PhD student in Epidemiology at BUSPH. She received her MPH in Epidemiology from the Brown University School of Public Health, where she examined the use of mindfulness-based interventions for physical health conditions (i.e., hypertension). Prior to graduate school, she earned her BS in Microbiology from the University of Rochester, and worked in infectious disease surveillance in New York State as part of CDC’s Emerging Infections Program. At BU, Ginny works on the Black Women’s Health Study, where her research focuses on mental health, immune-mediated diseases, and their overlap.
