Sophie Selbe is a fourth-year PhD candidate in Epidemiology at BUSPH. Her research focuses on trauma exposure, post-traumatic psychopathology, substance use, suicide, and the long-term impacts of violence. She earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she gained critical quantitative analytical data skills. Her research interests include interpersonal violence prevention and intervention, maternal health outcomes, and promoting health equity through the lens of healthcare data.
