Shannon Ogden is a PhD Candidate in Health Services Research at Boston University School of Public Health. Her research interests lie in the implementation and evaluation of policies and interventions that impact the health and well-being of women and sexual and gender minorities. Shannon’s research has focused on the health impacts related to intimate partner violence and the integration of healthcare and social services. Her dissertation work utilizes a mixed-methods approach to better understand the impacts of intimate partner violence on substance use behaviors and access to clinical and community-based services among women living with and without HIV.
