Patrick Koval is a first-year PhD student in Biostatistics. His research experience is largely in the examination of the public health effects of economic and environmental policy, which he gained while attaining his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Economics at College of the Holy Cross. His research interests include the use of econometric methods and time series to study contributors to psychiatric disorder and suicide, particularly environmental and economic conditions.
