Michelle Flesaker is a PhD student in the Epidemiology department at BUSPH. Her research interests are at the intersection of social and psychiatric epidemiology, examining modifiable risk factors of substance use and suicide. She received her BA in Statistical and Data Sciences from Smith College and MS in Epidemiology from BUSPH. Before starting the PhD program, she was the data analyst for the Center for Trauma and Mental Health.
