Mai Hussein, DMD, MMSc, is an MPH student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and an Epidemiology Excellence Fellow at the Boston University School of Public Health. Her research interests focus on how structural and community-level factors create life stressors that shape individual-level health disparities among vulnerable populations. She has an interdisciplinary background in dentistry, clinical investigation, and epidemiology, and is particularly interested in using population-based data and quantitative methods to advance equity-driven public health research.
