Kertu Tenso

Kertu Tenso is a fourth year PhD candidate in Health Services Research and a data analyst at the Veterans Health Administration. Her dissertation research focuses on using machine learning and causal inference methods to predict and explain suicide-related events in the Veteran population. Prior to joining Boston University, Kertu conducted research at the WHO Regional Office in Cairo, Institut Pasteur in Paris, Harvard Medical School, and Cambridge Health Alliance. She received her M.A. from Sciences Po Paris and B.A. from University of Tartu.
