SPH Collaborates with Everytown for Gun Safety to Curb Community Violence
BUSPH researchers partner with the national nonprofit Everytown for Gun Safety to assess the costs and impacts associated with community violence interventions. The nonprofit is the largest gun violence prevention organization in the US and has already performed comprehensive research documenting the social and economic costs of gun violence. BUSPH faculty and students have built upon earlier research to estimate the costs of preventing gun violence and to produce practical guidelines for implementing community violence intervention (CVI) programs.
