Marlene Chávez Corona
Marlene Chávez Corona (she/they/ella) received a B.A. in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and in Counseling and Social Change at San Diego State University in 2023. They previously were a research assistant in the Cognition and Language in Aphasia Lab and presented their research at ASHA 2023. She is currently a second-year Master student at Boston University for Speech-Language Pathology. Her scholarly interests include multilingualism, cognition, and their intersection in individuals with acquired brain injuries. Outside of academia, they enjoy laying in the sunshine, reading, and spending time with their cat, Mango.
