Irene Rubio

Irene Rubio (she/her) is from Miami, Florida, and is a junior undergraduate majoring in Biology with a specialization in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, and Genetics. As a bilingual speaker, she is interested in research involving pediatric bilingual development. In her free time she enjoys painting, hanging out with friends, and cooking. After graduation, she plans on attending PA school to work in the field of pediatrics. Through her experience as a research assistant, she hopes to gain a deeper understanding of bilingual development in kids and apply that to her future endeavors to promote health and well-being.
