Affiliates Join Panel to Discuss Northeast Wildfires
After an exceptionally dry season, wildfires have broken out across areas of the northeast. The fires have spurred school cancellations in some towns and caused poor air quality in communities that are not used to dealing with effects of wildfires.
The Department of Environmental Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health hosted a panel discussion, which included CCH affiliates Dr. Pat Kinney and Dr. Jen Stowell, to help audiences understand the potential health impacts of wildfire smoke, how to know if you are at risk, and what to do to protect yourself and your family from potential harm.
A recording of the session is now available on YouTube.
