Chemia is the undergraduate chemistry student organization at Boston University. We offer free tutoring for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry (and occasionally Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry). We also host events like information sessions about research opportunities and graduate school for students. Follow our Instagram @buchemia for the most up to date information!
We tutor on Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm in SCI103A (the room across from SCI109). More information about tutoring can be found on the “tutoring” page.

Welcome Back!
Hello Everyone!
We hope you have had a restful break! Chemia is planning to start tutoring on Monday, January 30th and our tutoring schedule and location will be the same as last semester (on Mondays and Thursdays in SCI103A from 6pm-8pm). Our calendar currently reflects our tutoring schedule.
As we look forward to this upcoming spring semester, Chemia is planning a lot of events. Some of our potential events include monthly pizza parties, chemistry interest meetings, a UROP information session, research talks, and more! We will update the calendar accordingly. Furthermore, we will send out newsletters via our email list (join here!) and we will keep our Instagram (@buchemia) updated. Stay tuned for more information!!
NO Tutoring Next Monday (12/12)
Because of the holiday party next Monday, there will be NO tutoring. Our last day of tutoring will be this Thursday (12/8) from 6pm-8pm in SCI103A. Good luck with the rest of the semester!!
Chemistry Holiday Party!
Join the Chemistry Department and Chemia for the 1st annual Holly Jolly Holiday Cookie Party on Monday, December 12th from 6:00pm-8:00pm! The event will be held in the SCI Basement Study Lounge. Undergraduate Research Panel
Date: Tuesday, December 6th (12/6)
Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm
Location: SCI117
Since the start of the school year, there has been a very strong interest in an event where you all can learn more about how to get involved with research both on and off campus. This event will consist of an undergraduate panel currently doing research. We will provide an overview of research on campus and then each of our panelists will explain their research position along with their tips for how to get involved. We will finish off with a Q&A session!
