Sophia Lopez

I am a junior undergraduate student doing research in Prof. Catherine Espaillat’s group.  For my research project, I am working with HST data of young stars and measuring the line luminosities of ultraviolet emission lines that trace mass accretion.  Our sample was monitored several times by HST and these measurements will help us understand accretion variability in young stars.
