Hiba is an alumni of the BU School of Public Health and now works in breast cancer epidemiology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Her MPH concentration was in epidemiology and biostatistics, with a specific focus on cancer and infectious disease epidemiology. While a member of our lab, she investigated the determinants of vaccine uptake among girls in the U.S. as well as understanding agent-based modeling. The commentary she wrote with Dr. Ellie Murray and Ruby Barnard-Mayers titled “Complex systems models for causal inference in social epidemiology” was published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health and can be found here.
