Poster Session with Novartis!
We worked with a team at Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research (NIBR) to set up a poster session for BU graduate students onsite at Novartis in the summer of 2019. It was a fantastic opportunity to present research and get feedback from industry professionals. The poster session was followed by a networking reception.
Chemistry Piano and Museum of Science!
Members of the Beeler lab and some BUWIC members have worked hard on the Chemistry themed “Play me I’m Yours” piano now at the museum of science!

BUWIC Colloquium Speaker Anna Mapp!
On May 8, Anna Mapp from University of Michigan came as BUWIC's 2017 Spring Colloquium Speaker! She met BU faculty, gave a wonderful talk on "capturing transcriptional activators with small molecules." She rounded out her visit with dinner with some faculty and BUWIC girls at Sonsie!
Science March!
On Saturday, April 22, there was a Boston-wide rally in the Boston Commons for people who love and support science. The BU community will begin this March with a rally at BU's Metcalf Science Plaza, followed by a March to the Common. BUWIC women were there sporting our posters and showing our love for science! Be sure to look up the website associated with the March and get involved in your local science community!

Make Posters with BUWIC for Science March!
On Saturday, April 22, there will be a Boston-wide rally in the Boston Commons for people who love and support science. The BU community will begin this March with a rally at BU's Metcalf Science Plaza, followed by a March to the Common.
To prepare for this, BUWIC will host a Poster Making Session on today from 12:30-1:30 in SCI 512. Bring your lunch and we'll supply some snacks as well. We will provide poster board and sharpies, but any and all extra supplies are welcome!

Science Night at Lincoln School!
On March 31st BUWIC members helped Lincoln school kids make Insta-Snow! We learned about polymers and how the snow worked!
