Rachael Kammer is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences at Boston University and a board-certified specialist in swallowing and swallowing disorders. She practices clinically in acute rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and has previously held positions at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Wisconsin. She developed the Parkinson Clinic at Boston University, which provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of voice, swallowing, and cognition for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. She teaches the Dysphagia course in the MS-SLP program and provides clinical training and mentorship to students. She has authored peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has presented nationally on different topics. Her clinical and research interests focus on evidence-based dysphagia intervention.
