Kelly Hansen
Lecturer & Clinical Supervisor
Kelly Hansen is a Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences at Boston University’s Sargent College and a board-certified medical speech-language pathologist specializing in swallowing and swallowing disorders. She provides dysphagia care to medically complex adults at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and has previously held clinical positions at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and City of Hope National Medical Center. Her clinical and scholarly interests include head and neck cancer rehabilitation, complex dysphagia management, and advocacy to improve access to high-quality, evidence-based swallowing care. She is also deeply engaged in clinical education, mentoring graduate students in instrumental swallowing assessment, patient-centered care, and inter-professional teamwork.
