Yiwen Zhang

My name is Yiwen Zhang and I am currently a senior studying Biomedical and Electrical Engineering on the pre-med track. I strive to develop novel neurotechnology devices to visualize and quantify the mechanism behind depression and other mental illnesses. I conduct research in an optics research lab at BU, optimizing a label-free photothermal system to characterize the physical properties of nanomaterials. I am interested in neurotechnology devices such as non-label imaging technologies. In my free time, I enjoy jogging along the Esplanade, reading, and making healthy desserts!
