My name is Maiko Lum and I am currently a senior studying Biomedical Engineering on the research track. I am an undergraduate researcher for the department of Ophthalmology at BUMC. As of now, I am unsure of my future career plans but I am interested in minoring in nanotechnology in hopes of connecting technology with the medical field to improve equipments used in hospitals. During my free time I like to hang out with friends and watch shows or when I am at home, hang out with my two shiba inus.
