Rocio Nunez Pepen

Rocio Nunez Pepen is an undergraduate student at Brown University studying Human Development. She is currently working as a research assistant on Project EARLY. Her role is to consent parents and administer the Infant-Toddler Checklist. As an RA she has also been able to gain skills in chart review, double data entry and fidelity checking. Previously, she has worked as a research assistant at Mass General Hospital conducting gastrointestinal epithelial research under Dr. Richard Hodin. As an immigrant from the Dominican Republic and native to Boston, MA she hopes to attend medical school and work with low-income families who lack access to primary care. Overall, her passion is in reducing barriers to care through education and empowerment.
