● National Endowment for the Arts Grants

The National Endowment for the Arts supports projects for the translation of specific works of prose, poetry, or drama from other languages into English.

● PEN HEIM Grants

The PEN/Heim Translation Fund was established in the summer of 2003 by an endowed gift of $730,000 from Michael Henry Heim and Priscilla Heim, in response to the dismayingly low number of literary translations currently appearing in English. Its purpose is to promote the publication and reception of translated international literature in English.

Run by the Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TEDA is a grant program intended to foster the publication of Turkish literature as well as works about Turkish art and culture in languages other than Turkish.

ELTNA / Emerging Literary Translators Network in America

“The Emerging Literary Translators’ Network in America provides support for beginning and early-career literary translators working in or with the United States. As of the last count, ELTNA members live in 16 countries and translate in over 25 language pairs.
