Dr. Aaron Waddell

I am from Winter Haven, Florida (in between Orlando and Tampa). I recently graduated from the University of Florida with my PhD in 2021 where I developed an  interest in cancer epigenetics and drug development. I am currently a postdoc in the Alani lab where I am characterizing a novel acetylation event that drives melanoma growth, with a focus on outlining potential new therapeutic strategies. Outside lab I enjoy reading, watching crime mysteries and visiting New England wineries.
