I looked at how ancient humans choose between various domesticated animals as options for consumption, and what factors play into those choices – particularly during the \u00a0Iron Age 1 of the Southern Levant (1200-1000 BCE). I also examined how we measure ancient domesticate calorie counts, and how these calorie measurements can be improved.
