Her work includes conducting faunal analysis on assemblages from Kiliuda Bay on Kodiak Island, as well as sites on Chirikof Island and the Aleutian Islands. These projects are aimed at understanding and illuminating site histories, including patterns of occupation, subsistence strategies, and the cultural heritage of ancestral Alutiiq communities.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her masters research focused on developing a novel population-inclusive method of binary assigned-sex-at-birth (ASAB) estimation from computed tomography (CT) scans of the human skull.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Publications<\/h3>\n<p>2022\u00a0 \u00a0 <strong>Kelley, Samantha<\/strong> and Sean, Tallman.
