Each group pf specimens can be included in one data file.<\/li>\n<li>Input speciment information if needed.<\/li>\n<li>Mount your specimens in the proper fixture.<\/li>\n<li>Align the load cell with your specimens. Secure the fixture.<\/li>\n<li>Set the extension reset before the test. Set the frame safety sensors for upper and lower limit.<\/li>\n<li>For testing of load to failure, install proper protection around the fixture and wear safety googoles for yourself.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;start&#8221; to test.<\/li>\n<li>Collect finished specimens and save for further fractograph analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Save the results after testing one group specimens. Do not mix different groups of specimens in one data file.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Change load cells:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Unscrew the three bolts with Allen wrench.<\/li>\n<li>Unplug the cable conector.<\/li>\n<li>Find the empty case with the same labelled range as current load cell from cabinet. Leave it open on bentch.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully remove the load cell from crosshead and put into the case. Lock the case and put it back to cabinet.<\/li>\n<li>Find the case with load cell you need. Open the case and take out of the load cell.<\/li>\n<li>Mount the load cell on crooshead with bolts. Connect the cable<\/li>\n<li><strong>Warning: <\/strong>You must return load cell back to case when using 10 N or 100 N load cell.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Finish:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Switch off the power of Instron.
