She completed a neurology residency, a psychiatry residency, and a behavioral neurology fellowship. She is boarded in neurology, psychiatry and behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. She has been a National Institute of Health funded researcher for over 20 years and is the Director of the Boston Yoga Research Center and is the Director of Functional Imaging for Psychiatry at BUSM.
