Needing overtime to decide which team would receive the extra point, freshman forward Ryder Ritchie ended the game two minutes into the five-minute period to seal the victory for Boston University men’s hockey. After a scoreless first period, Maine struck first in the opening 90 seconds of the middle frame. \u00a0Freshman forward Jack Murtagh fired a one-timer in the fourth minute of the second period to even the score. Maine regained their lead later in the second period, but sophomore forward Cole Eiserman scored another equalizer in the fifth minute of the third period.<\/p>\n
