Colgate opened the scoring on Boston University men’s lacrosse Senior Night behind an unassisted goal from Rory Connor, however, BU would strike back five minutes later with a goal from Andrew Pape. The two sides battled for the majority of the first three periods with Colgate scoring in spurts of two or three, followed by a similar spree by BU, creating five ties throughout the game. Late in the third quarter, BU fired off five goals to obtain a three-goal lead, and despite a late push from Colgate with two goals in the final 1:07, BU managed to hang on for an impressive 14 – 12 victory.<\/p>\n
