Boston University (0-5-2) fell to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats (5-1-1) by a final scoreline of 1-0.<\/p>\n

Going into the game, BU won 15 of the last 17 team meetings. Although, UNH had won two games in a row and was looking to add a third win.<\/p>\n

The game started with UNH driving the ball toward the goal, with Terrier goalkeeper Celia Braun running scrambling to clear the danger.<\/p>\n

In the 3rd minute of the game, UNH attempted another drive toward the goal with a cross into the box, but the BU defense was able to keep it away from the goal.<\/p>\n

In the 4th minute of the game, BU had a chance within the box, though they could not capitalize on it.<\/p>\n

With play starting to intensify, BU had their first shot on goal during the 9th minute, though it was saved by UNH goalkeeper Sally Rainey.<\/p>\n

With a turnover by BU in the 11th minute, UNH tried a cross into the middle, but it was eventually cleared by the BU defense.<\/p>\n

UNH received their first free kick in the 20th minute with a foul on BU.<\/p>\n

UNH hopped back on the counterattack, getting into the box, but defender Maddie Green disallowed any shots on goal during the 24th minute.<\/p>\n

Both teams went into halftime with a tied scoreline of 0-0.<\/p>\n

Going into the second half, BU started with the ball and immediately charged towards the box, though the play was stopped due to offsides.<\/p>\n

In the 47th minute of the game forward Jaiden Schultz made a cross in front of the UNH goal, though no Terriers were to be found, leaving the score still 0-0.<\/p>\n

BU tried launching a counterattack in the 51st minute, but the play was broken up by the UNH defense.<\/p>\n

Soon after, the Terriers had a turnover in the box, though Braun lept to the occasion, keeping the game scoreless.<\/p>\n

With UNH hungry for a goal, they had their first shot on goal with a ball that ended up just high, hitting the crossbar from a touch to the ball from Braun.<\/p>\n

Moments later, UNH was awarded a free kick outside the box, though the shot ended up hitting the crossbar once again from 30 yards out.<\/p>\n

Another free kick was awarded after a UNH player went down just outside the box. The ball was deflected off a defender, keeping the ball out, but was immediately tapped in by forward Meghan Guarente during the 62nd minute giving UNH the 1-0 advantage.<\/p>\n

Shortly after, defender Helene Tyburczy was given a yellow card.<\/p>\n

The Terriers attempted to tie the game with a chance from midfielder Kaiya Stewart with minutes left of the game, but they were unsuccessful.<\/p>\n
