The Wildcats (2-3, 0-0 AEC) remain perfect on the road for the season.

Scoring woes have plagued BU thus far, as they have failed to score over 10 goals in every contest.

Junior attack/midfield Jen Barry led the way for BU with a six-point outing (three goals, three assists) and a game-high 11 draw controls, and junior midfielder Claire Gola notched four goals in the losing effort.

Wildcat sophomore attacker Kelsey MacCallum managed five points (three goals, two assists) in their win, and senior midfielder Delaney Pratt managed a hat-trick.

Things were even for most of the first quarter, with BU and UNH trading goals back-and-forth. Freshman attacker Matty Spaeth gave BU their first goal on a free-position shot, continuing her stellar first season with the Terriers.

Into the second, UNH erupted on a 3-0 run to take a three-goal lead which they would not hand back until the early fourth quarter. MacCallum found Pratt twice in a row, with the two goals separated by just over one minute.

In the third, Gola notched three goals in a row in a little over three minutes of play to tie the game. The 4-2 third quarter placed BU in position to seize momentum and earn their first win of the year.

Barry completed her hat trick early in the third for the Terriers to take the lead for the first time in the game, but UNH answered back. BU took a one-goal lead again on a goal from freshman attacker Hannah Tillier, but that would ultimately be the last BU goal of the game as UNH senior attacker Lily Powell would score the equalizer and game-winner for the Wildcats halfway through the final frame.

Two more UNH goals sealed the win for the Wildcats.

The Terriers next travel to Hamden, CT, to take on the 2-1 Quinnipiac Bobcats on Saturday.
