This sets up several great matchups that could shake things up heading into next week. With that, let’s look at the Week 8 power rankings.

No. 10: Baby Chark (1-6) — Ethan Fuller [Last Week: 10]

Added: WR Antonio Brown (Free Agency), WR Cole Beasley (Waivers), WR Sterling Shepard (Waivers), WR Randall Cobb (Waivers), RB Damien Harris (Waivers), Chargers D/ST (Free Agency)

Dropped: TE Eric Ebron (Waivers), WR Demarcus Robinson (Waivers), WR Keelan Cole Sr. (Waivers), WR D.J. This week featured another underwhelming performance from Josh Allen, another week without Michael Thomas, and no other player on his team reaching double-digits. Cole Beasley and Sterling Shepard are decent additions to the receiving corps, but his trio of RBs of Justin Jackson, Darrell Henderson Jr., and Damien Harris are all puzzling players to gauge. They could all easily carry their offenses this week, or total about ten points between the three of them. Between all that and a host of tough matchups for his players, Ethan’s team must remain at No. 10.

No. 9: The Flavortown Trash Can Lids (2-5) — Akshai Wadhwani [Last Week: 9]

Added: K Mason Crosby (Free Agency), Packers D/ST (Free Agency), RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (Trade), RB Leonard Fournette (Trade)

Dropped: Patriots D/ST (Waivers), RB Todd Gurley II (Trade), K Rodrigo Blankenship (Waivers)

Yes, Akshai’s team nearly reached 150 points last week. Yes, Todd Gurley II, Aaron Rodgers and of course Tyler Lockett (who had 200 receiving yards, 3 TDs and 53 points) all had strong weeks. However, Lockett will not put up a game like that this week, Tom Brady faces an intriguing matchup against the Giants without Chris Godwin, and his bench looks very weak this week should anything arise. A matchup with Baby Chark should warrant an easy win, but Akshai’s team still remains at No. 9.

No. 8: Happy Golladays (3-4) — Daniel Multz [Last Week: 8]

Added: TE Austion Hooper (Waivers, later dropped) TE Rob Gronkowski (Waivers), K Joey Slye (Free Agency), RB Devin Singletary (Free Agency)

Dropped: K Greg Zuerlein (Waivers), RB James White (Waivers)

Time to admit it right out of the gate: trading for Cam Newton was unbelievably dumb. With the Patriots trending further and further down, without Tyler Boyd and with a wasted week at the QB position, the only positive I take away from last week’s performance is that Rob Gronkowski’s resurgence continued as he found the endzone once again. Fortunately at least, Lamar Jackson and Myles Gaskin return from byes.

CeeDee Lamb struggled as the Cowboys’ offense flatlined, and Josh Jacobs had another tough game against a lethal Tampa Bay rush defense. Ben’s team could easily have another explosive week, but with Senior on J.V. lurking and remaining a big threat in the league, his team has to stay put at No. 7.

No. 6: These Ladies Love Sosi (3-4) — Perry Sosi [Last Week: 6]

Added: None

Dropped: None

Perry’s team benefits both from an elite game from Justin Herbert, and the bad trade made by Happy Golladays that gave him a potential top-10 receiver.
