Claire Smieszny<\/h3>\n

Co-Director<\/h4>\n

Claire is a senior from Acton, Massachusetts, studying public relations and journalism in the College of Communication. Since joining WTBU in 2023, Claire has contributed coverage for both our Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey teams, including at major tournaments such as Beanpot, Hockey East and the Frozen Four. Outside of WTBU, she works part-time to support the Boston Bruins communications team. Claire was raised in a Chicago sports family with a die-hard Bears fan for a dad and enjoys keeping up with the NHL and the Blackhawks.<\/p>\n

Mason Jablonsky<\/h3>\n

Co-Director<\/h4>\n

Mason is a senior from Phoenix, Arizona studying journalism in the College of <\/span>Communication. Since joining WTBU Sports in Fall 2022, Mason has provided play-by-play <\/span>and color commentary for Terrier basketball and ice hockey. Mason has also previously served as the social media coordinator for WTBU Sports. As an Arizona sports fan, Mason has had little to cheer about for most of his life. Nevertheless, Mason believes the Suns Gorilla is the perfect mascot in sports and can do no wrong, save for the time the Gorilla inadvertently kicked Mason’s friend in the face during a game.<\/p>\n
