Her second-straight Defensive Player of the Year honor, Hammel was joined by classmate and co-captain Allie Doggett and sophomore Ailsa Connolly on the First Team All-Patriot League.

Not only did Hammel anchor a defense that allowed just nine goals in six conference games, she scored six goals and added five assists. Doggett scored three goals and had one assist, and Connolly scored a team-high eight goals and added three helpers. All three were unanimous selections to the First Team All-Patriot League.

Sophomore Petra Hall co-led the conference with three game-winning goals and was tied for second on the Terriers with six goals. Junior Kiley Gallagher joined Hall on the Second Team All-Patriot League after posting a goal and four assists.

It was the fourth-straight Patriot League Coach of the Year for Starr, and 10th honor of such magnitude in her career.

Ranked 24th in the most recent NFHCA poll, the Terriers host the Patriot League Championship this weekend. Semifinals are scheduled for Friday with the title game on Sunday. All games will be on New Balance Field.
