Don’t copy and paste formatting from Microsoft Word. If you do, use “Paste as Plain Text” in WP, or highlight the text in WordPress and use the Clear Formatting button. Don’t try to copy fonts and font sizes from Word into WordPress.
Ideally, you should paste PLAIN TEXT into WordPress, and use WordPress options to format and style your content. The formatting inside a Word document is very specific to Microsoft products and contains a lot of non-standard markup that bloats your HTML. Your WordPress code should be as plain as possible so it is usable, accessible, and inherits the styles and properties of the BU framework.
