This might include lessons in general education classroom, in the small group setting\/resource room, and\/or the sub-separate classroom setting. This might include:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 A 20-minute fluency lesson in the resource room<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 A 90-minute reading block<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 A co-taught math lesson<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 A direct phonics instruction<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 A small group math intervention<\/p>\n<h3><strong><br style=\"clear: both;\" \/>How should I prepare to have my lesson video recorded?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Before your instruction is recorded, you can prepare by completing the following tasks:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1. Complete the lesson plan cover sheet for the lesson that will be recorded using 1 of the following methods<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 Complete the paper-and-pencil cover sheet (in your red folder)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 Complete the cover sheet electronically and print <a href=\"\/voise\/files\/2016\/10\/Lesson-plan-cover-sheet.docx\">Lesson plan cover sheet<\/a>\u00a0(Microsoft Word)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 Complete and submit the cover sheet via Google forms <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/2BSqpQ6Mg5QT7mhZ2\">Lesson plan cover sheet\u00a0<\/a>(Google Form)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>2. Determine which students have been opted out of participating in video recordings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 Make a plan for how to keep these students outside of the camera frame during the lesson<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>3. Make sure you have collected consent forms from any other teachers or paraprofessionals who will be included in the lesson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>4. Make sure your classroom is ready for video recording<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 Ideally, we position the camera so that it can capture you as you provide instruction, your students, and the board (if applicable)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 The camera is usually placed in the middle of a large group lesson or to the side of the table for small group lessons<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 If this is not possible in your classroom, make sure to let you research assistant know<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>5. Make possible considerations for\u00a0co-teaching<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 Make sure you have a completed consent form from your co-teacher(s)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">\u2022 Let your co-teacher know you will be recording a lesson<\/p>\n<h3><strong><br style=\"clear: both;\" \/>What should I do while my lesson is being recorded?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Relax!
