2014 URBAN ARCH Annual Meeting Highlights<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The URBAN ARCH Annual meeting, held on April 1-2, 2014, brought together approximately 50 investigators, staff, advisory panel members, and other collaborators to discuss the progress and future direction of the URBAN ARCH Consortium. The two-day meeting began with a welcome and introduction by Dr. Jeffrey Samet, PI of the URBAN ARCH Consortium.<\/p>\n

2014 CHAART Scientific Meeting<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The CHAART Scientific Meeting took place May 14-16, 2014 in Washington D.C. The meeting was organized by the Consortium to improve Outcomes in HIV\/AIDS, Alcohol, Aging, and multi-Substance use (COMpAAAS) and included active participation by the NIAAA scientific staff and other CHAART members: Brown University ARCH, ARCH (Johns Hopkins), and SHARC (University of Florida).<\/p>\n

2014 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, March 4th, URBAN ARCH and COMpAAAS co-hosted a reception with\u00a0the 2014 CROI meeting. This event brought together a number of investigators from the fields of HIV and alcohol research to discuss current projects and potential future collaborations.<\/p>\n
