Administrative Core<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u00a0The Administrative (Admin) Core provides the organizational framework for the International URBAN ARCH Center and facilitates synergy among the Center\u2019s 4 components: 1) Admin Core; 2) Biostatistics and Data Management (BDM) Core; 3) TRAC Study; and 4) TALC Study. The Admin Core is responsible for day-to-day management and functioning of the Center with the goal of ensuring that the scientific and programmatic activities of the Center are integrated and carried out with high quality and timeliness. The Admin Core also coordinates access to resources including the International URBAN ARCH Center data and sample repository as well as the International URBAN ARCH Training & Mentoring Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Biostatistics and Data Management Resource Core<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The overarching goal of the <\/span>Biostatistics and Data Management (BDM) Core is to facilitate the long-term conduct of rigorous, reproducible and innovative alcohol\/HIV research. The BDM Core provides statistical expertise and effective data management to the TRAC and TALC studies. The BDM Core brings statistical and data management leadership to all phases of research to ensure high standards for data quality and statistical analyses, and to enhance the synergy and productivity of investigators, promote the validity and generalizability of the scientific findings, promote data sharing, and ultimately elevate the understanding of the impact of alcohol on the spectrum of TB infection among PWH.<\/p>\n
