She was born and raised in a hilly region of Nepal. She did her undergraduate degree in agriculture science at Tribhuvan University, and she completed her master\u2019s degree in biology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, USA. She is interested in understanding plant-microbe-environment interactions, with a focus on how plant-microbe relationships respond to abiotic stress conditions at the molecular level.
