Lindsey Butler,<\/strong> Ph.D., graduated from the Department of Environmental Health in 2021.\u00a0 She has previously served as the Vice President of Sustainability at CREF and as the Director of Climate and Health Resilience at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bio as a student<\/em>: Lindsey’s research focuses on prenatal and environmental epidemiology and examines how climate change impacts the health of vulnerable populations. She has a Bachelor\u2019s of Science in Environmental Science from Simmons College and a Master\u2019s of Science in Environmental Health from Boston University. Lindsey is a recipient of a Boston University Initiative on Cities Early Stage Urban Research Award. She serves on the Boards of the Boston University Medical School Climate Group, the Boston University School of Public Health Doctoral Student Organization, and 500 Women Scientists Boston. Her dissertation examines how heat and air pollution impact the health of pregnant women and the developing fetus.<\/p>\n
