Help us and our students make a difference on April 9<sup>th<\/sup> in support of Giving Day, Boston University\u2019s biggest fundraising event of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Giving Day 2025, now in its 11th year, brings the BU community together to raise funds for hundreds of programs, initiatives, and causes over 24 impactful hours. This year, your support for BU URBAN will foster a supportive group of peers seeking to address today\u2019s urban environmental challenges:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$1,000 funds an URBAN Travel award that sponsors a student\u2019s lodging and travel to present at a conference or meeting to strengthen their professional networks and to share their research with colleagues across disciplines<\/li>\n<li>$1,500 funds an URBAN Research Award for a student to complete interdisciplinary research that spans both Biogeoscience and Environmental Health in urban systems<\/li>\n<li>$2,000 provides a stipend for a student to complete an 80-hour URBAN internship, using their skills and expertise to address a real-world environmental issue in partnership with a nonprofit, government entity, or private sector organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your generosity helps students put their learning into action, shaping their future and their ability to create change in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s come together to support our students and their vision.
