Dear BU URBAN Community,<\/p>\n

Hello and welcome to the 2021-2022 academic year! I am so grateful that many of us can meet together in person on campus this year where we can continue to train our students in Biogeoscience, Environmental Health, and Statistics to work with our partners to tackle urban environmental challenges. Several of our students\u00a0recently\u00a0completed internships and I encourage you to learn about them\u00a0through these videos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m excited to welcome our fourth cohort of PhD students to the URBAN Program! We met most of them in person earlier this month for our Introductory Workshop where we shared the exciting components of the program and walked around campus taking measurements of carbon dioxide and particulate matter (see pictures below).
