{"id":2270,"date":"2020-04-01T14:52:41","date_gmt":"2020-04-01T18:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/urban\/?p=2270"},"modified":"2025-12-10T10:22:43","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T15:22:43","slug":"accelerating-climate-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.bu.edu\/urban\/2020\/04\/01\/accelerating-climate-solutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Accelerating Climate Solutions: A Science Communication Workshop &#8211; April 1, 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 1, 2020, BU URBAN partnered with\u00a0<span>Sarah Finnie Robinson, a Senior Fellow at the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/ise\/\">BU Institute of Sustainable Energy<\/a><span>\u00a0and Founding Director of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.the51percent.io\/\">the 51% Percent Project<\/a> to offer a Science Communication Workshop titled, &#8220;Accelerating Climate Solutions.&#8221;\u00a0In total, 18 graduate students participated in the workshop along with the following guests: Dr. Pam Templer, BU URBAN Program Director; Bud Ris, Boston Green Ribbon Commission, Tom Champoux, Designer; and Erica Mattison, Sustainability@BU. Evan Kuras, BU URBAN Program Manager, and Sarah Finnie Robinson, facilitated the workshop.
