Our research focuses on custom-designed optical instrumentation for label-free mid-infrared photothermal imaging and spectroscopy for molecular studies of cells and tissues.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The position will involve multimodal imaging with fluorescence microscopy and vibrational imaging, biophysical interpretation of spectral signatures, modeling of photothermal dynamics with potential applications for neuroscience, cancer biology, women\u2019s health or other application areas.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Qualification: PhD, MD\/PhD or doctoral equivalent in relevant discipline, including molecular imaging, spectroscopy, biochemistry, cell physics with experimental microscopy experience and optical system design<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">If interested, please contact Prof. Sander at msander@bu.edu.
